Mobile clinics can provide a “shot in the arm” for health services

Healthcare is an ever evolving field. If NHS Trusts and charities need to take treatment “on the road” directly to their patients, then a mobile clinic or medical trailer can be conveniently and quickly moved from site to site and once thereĀ  transform into a modern, comfortable, clinical environment.

Deployment is quick and easy, so the mobile clinic can be positioned and fully functioning in the shortest time possible. The trailer based medical facility is simply driven to location, parked-up and linked ready to service the community.

This means that extra capacity for hospitals can be provided quickly and cost-effectively without the lead-time of designing and constructing permanent buildings whilst healthcare services can be taken into the heart of the community to numerous locations assessable and familiar to the patient, to provide a comfortable and quality facility on their doorstep.

From mobile GP surgeries and dental services to renal dialysis and cancer treatments, bespoke healthcare units can be tailored precisely to your needs, driven anywhere and relocated as often as necessary.

On the basis that travelling long distances for cancer treatments placed further undue strain on patients, EMS Healthcare, specialists in this field, were briefed to design a bespoke mobile chemotherapy unit

“Finding the right partner for this project was absolutely critical. By taking treatments out of the hospital setting and making sure people can access the cancer support services they need in their local area, we are freeing up their time and money, giving them the reassurance of being treated locally and also freeing up valuable space in hospitals for the NHS.”

This unit is the first of its kind in the UK and will be delivering mobile cancer treatment and support services across Wales.
